Phantom 25 for sale
Going back overseas very soon, not sure for how long and after thinking about the prcticality of keeping the boat here in storage I have decided to sell it, but I would like to see my P25 go to a good home where it will be driven as it was ment to be.
- It's fitted with race built tuned Mercury 2.5 260's that will go as fast as you've got the balls for and then some. I've not pushed it hard so cannot tell you what the top end is but I am sure there are some knowledgable chaps here that can work out what a P25 with 600hp and 2 big props spinning at 11k rpm will do.
Taz's P20 with one of these engines fitted comfortably ran over 85mph and would've gone a lot lot further except for the boat becoming dangerously unstable.
- I've had 2 new pro front mount steering rams and adjustable Capilano helm fitted.
Boat has -
- 200ltr ali rear/belly fuel tank
- 2 x 45 litre bow fuel tanks
- Bow ballast tank
- Navman tracker 5600 (will remove 5505i currently fitted)
- Navman fish/depth 4432, internal puck transducer
- 2 new batteries
- Bennett sport trim tabs
- pro trim helm mount trim switches
- Fire extinguisher
- Intercom with headphones
- Solid state bildge switch
Etc etc etc
- New dash, I changed the gauges and rather than bodge it and cover over the old holes I had the entire dash completely cut out, complete new gel coated fibreglass and ply dash fitted, very well done with bottom rolled edge so no scratching your knees on a cut fibreglass edge.
- Heads up trim indicators - 2 pins that rise up through the top edge of the dash.
- Good twin axle trailer, recent new brakes and bearings
- Alloy wheels
Stored dry, inside its own unit, always washed down with fresh water after use
Problems
1. Problem with stbd gearbox - its f*cked. Got good replacement box, late 4 hole CLE, but short driveshaft so I will be looking for someone to change the driveshaft in next week or 2.
2. Had a problem with stbd ignition/timing, I've been assured that's fixed but need to fit gearbox to make sure its running ok, if not I will put new ECU on it.
If you are GENUINELY and SERIOUSLY interested, contact me to arrange visit and I will send better and more recent photos.
Just so we dont waste anybody's time - No deals, no exporting it to Nigeria, no tire kickers, no twats or dreamers making stupid offers because I simply will not sell it for peanuts, don’t even think about mentioning the credit crunch cos I don’t care if you are short of cash.
I will only entertain serious genuine offers, if I dont get near to what I want I simply won’t sell it cos I know I will never find another genuine P25 like it with these engines.
Take it away now for £22,500 with spare gearboxes, one has really handy inspection hole in the side, come and have a look and make me an offer.
(Some pictures here show the XR2's fitted but it now has the 260's with the blue cowls).

Dont be too hard on him Chris, he's obviously a real powerboater, he feels the need for speed, he's got water in his blood, or is it blood in his water after that hi speed crash at Conniston???
The boat is painted, engines are 97.
