Yeh, it belonged to a pal of mine for many years, until he sold it a while ago to a guy up norf!

As it says in the Ad, it's a Tropimere, and was built as a twin big block powered "sports fisher" type of boat.

Me mate cut the deck off, and bought an old cougar 41 deck for it, but didn't get to do much more with it.

He owned it for probably close on 20 years, kept it in Poole for a while, before moving it to a yard near his home in Middlesex.

I think he really did have "the two greatest days in his life"

Tropimere Info

Now I know I run the risk of Mr.D reaching for his best bulletts and firing them in my direction, but that Tropimere hull is based on the 37ft Enfield Avenger hull. You know the one Mr.D,being as you are a great follower of all things historic, and as we say at charm school, that boat wasn`t all crap.So what exactly Mr Colin Macskill screwed up on to make it a lemon,I`m not quite sure on.He got the lines and not much else.

I dunno, you take every opportunity to have a pop at me, and my dislike of old shit, sorry, classics.

My comment of "crap" was in reference to it's condition now, not as a boat new or s/h. I don't actually know that much about Tropimere, but I quite like the look of the raceboat, and knowing that Mark Pascoe helped build it when he worked for them.

Some Tropimere`s for the middle east from the `old shite` era (that is pre 1995 when the changeover in terminogly occured,or when `Extreme `graced the circuits)
