21ft Fletcher
We have just bought a 21ft Fletcher, pale blue & white with the logo "Supersoft" and the number 28.
We have been led to believe it may have once belonged to, or been raced by, Roger Clark, does anyone know of any way of verfying (or refuting) this.
Any information gratefully received.
Steve

i owned this boat up until 2 years ago, cracking boat built like ark royal.... thats why i named it the tub... but i think there were 2 may be 3 made for ski racing. i dont know were exactly where mine went but i think its exmouth or close to it... i know one other went out to france.if i could see a picture i could tell you wether its a cevlar one or not. they cut the transon on the light weight one when they stuck to mod vp's on it... i stood and dribbled as it through flames out the back and managed to begged a ride on it as a small boy in lyme regis when gavin was running it in for darren. never thought in my wildest dreams that i would own it. but dont get me wrong there was nothing wild about it... i bolted a new 3ltr 225 opti on it and still only just managed about 56mph. oh and you had to trim it a little bit to get a little bow lift....rooster dave springs to mind......
